About the Faculty

The Faculty of Sharia Sciences is one of the faculties at Bani Waleed University, dedicated to spreading Islamic knowledge and preparing specialized scientific cadres in the fields of Islamic studies and Sharia sciences. The faculty aims to prepare graduates possessing scientific and methodological knowledge in the Holy Quran sciences, Prophetic Sunnah, Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), and its fundamentals (Usul al-Fiqh), enabling them to contribute to community service and promote religious and cultural values. Furthermore, the faculty is committed to developing scientific research in Sharia disciplines, encouraging studies that address contemporary societal issues, spreading moderate religious awareness, consolidating principles of moderation, and fostering academic cooperation with scientific and research institutions.

Since higher education by its nature and functions impacts all institutions and sectors of society and serves as the ultimate investment in building consciousness, the Faculty of Sharia Sciences at Bani Waleed University—driven by the university's leading role in spreading and developing knowledge across various fields—strives to disseminate academic knowledge and empower human potential.

The goals of the Faculty of Sharia Sciences extend beyond merely graduating students; its core significance lies in being a hub for research, qualification, community service, and supplying society with qualified scientific and technical cadres. Education is no longer a set of rigid courses a student must complete, but a continuous and renewed offering of knowledge.

Admission & Registration Requirements

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in the required specialization with a grade not less than "Good".
  • Pass the admission exams and personal interview (if any) decided by the competent department.
  • Provide the required documents in accordance with the regulations of the University's Postgraduate Studies Administration.
